PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Board of Trustees of the Village of Nassau, Rensselaer County, New York will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 7:15 P.M. at the Village Municipal Building, 40 Malden Street, Nassau, New York in reference to:

BUDGET WORKSHOP

Village of Nassau Board of Trustee will conduct the following workshops for the

2026-27 Budget

Wednesday, April 1^st, at 7:00pm

at the Village Hall, 40 Malden Street

All are welcome to attend for observation purposes only; there will be no public discussion at this workshop.

Polling will take place at the Village Hall 40 Malden Street, Nassau, NY 12123.

12:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

Anyone wishing to vote in the March 18, 2026 Village Election must be registered with the County Board of Elections by March 6, 2026.

Applications for Absentee Ballots are available at the Village Clerks Office Monday-Friday 8:00am-12:00pm.

NOTICE

VILLAGE OF NASSAU RESIDENTS

 SIDEWALKS SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL

The Village of Nassau has a local law requiring the removal of snow and ice from sidewalks by the property owner.

The sidewalks abutting your property must be cleared of snow and ice within 24 hours after a storm per Local Law #1 Section 96.

If not removed within 24 hours, Village employees will do so and the cost incurred will be charged back to the property owner.

9:00 am until 12 noon.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE

Village residents on the Tuesday pickup will be picked up this week on Wednesday

Village Residents on the Friday pickup will be picked up on Saturday. 

Note: Due to the Christmas Holiday and the winter storm that hit last Saturday, Albany Ave did not get picked up last week. County Waste said ALL extra refuse will be picked up on this Saturday 1/3/26.
