NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

A Public Hearing of the Zoning Board of Appeals will be held on March 26, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Village Municipal Building to discuss the following application:

Application #2-2018 for Jennifer Pruden, 31 Elm Street, Nassau NY 12123, for a Notice of Appeal to an Order to Remedy Violation.

All interested parties are invited to appear and be heard.

Communications in writing in relation thereto may be filed with the Board, or at such time as the meeting.

 Polling will take place at the Village Hall 40 Malden Street, Nassau, NY 12123; 12:00pm to 9:00pm on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.

Anyone wishing to vote in the March 20, 2018 General Election must be registered with the County Board of Elections by March 9, 2018.

Applications for Absentee Ballots are available at the Village Clerks Office Monday-Friday 8:00am-12:00pm.

NOTICE OF VILLAGE OF NASSAU COMPLETION OF 2018 ASSESSMENT ROLL

HEARING OF COMPLAINTS

 Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Village of Nassau have completed their Assessment Roll for the current year, that a copy thereof has been left with the undersigned in the Office of the Village Clerk, Village Municipal Building, 40 Malden Street, where it may be seen and examined by any person interested, therein until the 20th day of February, 2018 and on such day, at 5:30 o’clock to 9:30 o’clock in the evening said Board of Review will meet at the Village Municipal Building, 40 Malden Street in the said Village, to hear and examine all complaints in relation to such assessments, on the application of any person conceiving himself to be aggrieved thereby.

 The Roll can be viewed at the office of the Village Clerk:

Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.

Thursday, February 8^th 6:00 pm-8:00 pm.

Saturday, February 10^th 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

REMINDER NOTICE

VILLAGE OF NASSAU RESIDENTS

SIDEWALKS SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL

The Village of Nassau has a local law requiring the removal of snow and ice from sidewalks by the property owner.

The sidewalks abutting your property must be cleared of snow and ice within 24 hours after a storm per Local Law #1 Section 96.

If not removed within 24 hours, Village employees will do so and the cost incurred will be charged back to the property owner.

If you have any questions concerning this matter, please contact the Village Clerk at (766-3044) Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM until 12 Noon.
