THE VILLAGE OF NASSAU IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR SUMMER HELP.
APPLICANTS MUST BE AT LEAST 17 YEARS OF AGE, A JUNIOR IN HIGH SCHOOL AND PASS DRUG TESTING.
APPLICATIONS MAY BE PICKED UP AT THE VILLAGE HALL, 40 MALDEN STREET, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8AM AND
12 NOON MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the VILLAGE OF NASSAU 2019 SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS will be received by the at the VILLAGE HALL until 11:00 am local time on April 8th, 2019 and then at said office, publicly opened and read aloud.
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following
places:

LABERGE GROUP, 4 COMPUTER DRIVE WEST, ALRANY, N’EW YORK 12205
Copies may be obtained at the office of the VILLAGE CLERK upon payment of a $100.00 deposit for each set. Checks shall be made payable to VILLAGE OF NASSAU. If the Village is requested to mail the Contract Documents, there will be an additional non-refundable charge of $20.00 for postage and handling.
All qualified bidders, upon return of full Contract Documents, will be refunded the full deposit. All non- bidders, upon return of full Contract Documents, will be refunded one-half of the deposit. All documents, returned for refund, must be received complete, in good condition and within thirty (30) days of the Bid Opening.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract.

EXECUTIVE ORDERS #11246 AND #11375. THE REQUIREMENTS FOR BIDDERS AND

EMPLOYMENT, ARE EXPLAINED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS.

The Village of Nassau Youth Committee is pleased to announce that the annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 13, 11am at the Village Commons located on John Street. Come join the Easter Bunny who will make his appearance bringing candy-filled eggs and fun for children of all ages. Don’t forget to bring your baskets and cameras for pictures with the Bunny! The “Hunt” starts promptly at 11am, so plan on arriving at the Commons 10 minutes earlier. There is no charge for the festivities. For more information contact Judy, at 518-522-2916.
